We are delighted that after a period of time as a Senior Crown Advocate with the CPS Brian Treadwell has rejoined Linenhall Chambers.
Brian is a Senior Crown Advocate with over 25 years’ experience in all stages of the criminal process. He has a history of involvement in the prosecution and defence of all criminal matters including murder, from the Crown Court to the Court of Appeal. Brian has been engaged in advising the police regarding investigations pre-charge, addressing disclosure in complex cases and advising senior management regarding cases of particular sensitivity. In 2024 Brian was engaged as tutor in the delivery of training modules for rape and serious sexual offences. Outside of Chambers Brian has an interest in sports law, with over 10 years’ experience in advisory roles for UK rugby, volleyball and squash organisations.
