Linenhall Chambers is the leading set of barristers chambers for Chester, North and Mid Wales. Both barristers and clerks are approachable and friendly and work closely together to provide a seamless and supportive service to clients with guidance in plain English (or Welsh!) and without the formality often found in larger sets. We have a long-established tradition of supporting clients in Wales and many of our members are able to provide advice and conduct cases in Welsh.

Areas we cover

From our base in Chester, Linenhall Chambers primarily serves the law firms, legal departments, public authorities and bodies, businesses and individuals in Cheshire, the North West and North and Mid Wales as well as in Shropshire, Staffordshire, Herefordshire, the wider Midlands and Yorkshire.

We are regularly instructed by professional and lay clients from right across England and Wales and we have a long-established tradition of providing legal services in Wales with many of our members able to provide advice and conduct cases in Welsh.

We have over 70 barristers, including a number of King’s Counsel, as members of our set based in Chester. All members of the Linenhall team are friendly, approachable and combine deep experience with a good sense of judgement to provide clients with advice they can rely upon.
