INTRODUCTION

Simon has long experience in defending the most serious criminal cases, and in particular complex drug trafficking, historic sexual offences and rape. Simon’s special expertise in historic sexual offences has led him to defend such cases in Courts across the UK, including Swansea, Northampton, Blackfriars, Kingston-upon-Thames, and Preston.

Simon is also a level 3 prosecutor and an accredited member of the sexual offences Panel of Prosecutors.

Simon has also considerable experience in the successful judicial review of decisions made in the Youth and Magistrates Court.

He continues to lecture nationally on all areas of criminal Evidence.

CAREER HISTORY

Having started his career as a partner in a leading criminal practice in Liverpool, Simon was amongst the first group of solicitors to take higher rights in 1996, transferring to the Bar in 1998 and quickly establishing himself as a criminal practitioner.

Simon moved to Linenhall in 2014 and continues to defend and prosecute serious criminal cases.
