Gareth specialises in Criminal, Regulatory and Courts Martial law.

Gareth both defends and prosecutes.

His practice spans all areas of serious crime, with specific interests in Courts Martial, Firearms and Drug trials.

Gareth is an experienced practitioner of over 20 years call who can advise and litigate on all manner of cases across the spectrum of Criminal Law.

He is regularly instructed to represent very demanding clients as well as highly vulnerable clients and clients with mental health issues.

He is highly personable and calm with both his professional and lay clients. When required he can be straight to the point and take a pragmatic approach. He is not afraid to make the hard decisions and advise accordingly.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Gareth was a Commissioned Officer in the British Army having served in two armed conflicts. He is a staunch advocate for all military personnel both past and present.
