Elen joined Linenhall Chambers in 2011 having been a Crown Advocate at CPS, North Wales since 1988 after completing pupillage in London in 1986.
Whilst at the CPS, Elen concentrated exclusively on advocacy and has extensive experience of serious and complex casework. She had responsibility for some of the most serious and high profile cases dealt with by CPS North Wales in the years before she returned to private practice, including homicide, complex drug investigations, high value fraud and conspiracy cases, rape and serious sexual offences.
Since joining Chambers Elen has developed a strong defence practice and is well regarded by those who depend upon her skills. She has a reputation for being approachable and friendly, in line with the culture of the set, and qualities which she regards as critical to achieving the best results for her clients.
