Anna is a specialist criminal practitioner and experienced advocate, prosecuting and defending all types of criminal offences, with a specialism in sexual offences.

Having built up a successful Crown Court practice, in 2007 Anna took a career break to raise her family, during which time she was a Visiting Lecturer at the College of Law and a CILEx Criminal Law tutor. She returned to full time practice at the Bar in 2015 and is regularly instructed in criminal cases of the most serious nature including in relation to assault & violent crime, murder and manslaughter, drugs, fraud and sexual offences.

Anna has extensive experience of dealing with defendants and witnesses with mental health issues and other vulnerabilities and has conducted numerous s.28 cases (pre-recorded cross-examination).

She prosecutes and defends cases involving large volumes of technical evidence and has experience of dealing with expert witnesses in a range of fields.
