Simon Medland QC recently led the prosecution in the Case of R v Wetherill and others, leading Andros Wetherill to be sentenced to a minimum of 25 years for of the murder of Mrs Glynis Solmaz, 65, during a burglary. Three other men were also jailed after they pleaded guilty to conspiring to burgle Ms Solmaz’s home.
