Chambers offers its congratulations to Edward Timpson MP on his appointment as Minister of State for Children and Families. Edward was a key member of the Family Team in Chambers prior to his election to parliament for Crewe and Nantwich in 2008. His family’s longstanding commitment to disadvantaged families gave urgency and integrity to his focus on cases involving the most vulnerable children and we can think of no more suitable person to take leadership of the complex issues surrounding the care to be given to children and families in need.
