Introduction
Brian was called to the Bar in 2006. Prior to this, he was a Partner in a solicitors’ firm, having qualified as a solicitor in 1996.
Brian is an expert in Sports Law sitting on sports discipline panels at County level and prosecuting for RFU at national level.
Brian predominantly practises in Criminal Law and conducts criminal cases in the Crown Court from both a prosecution and defence perspective including trial by jury. He provides advice to professional and lay clients regarding evidential issues and the instruction of expert witnesses. Brian also represents Police Officers in appearances before disciplinary panels, along with additionally conducting technical defences relating to road traffic matters.
