Brett is a well-regarded and busy junior barrister on Circuit whose practice covers both civil and criminal litigation. He holds a broad civil practice with particular interest in regulatory law matters, personal injury, credit hire and private law matters and his criminal practice includes serious violence, drug related crime and sexual offences.
Crime
All aspects of Crown Court work including drug conspiracy and violence, sexual offences and proceeds of crime. Brett is a Category 3 prosecutor. He is often instructed by local authorities in relation to regulatory law matters.

Fast track and multi-track RTAs, employer liability, public law, dangerous animals, fast and efficient turnover of paperwork. Particular interest in defence fraud work, LVI and credit hire.
Commercial
General commercial work, sale of goods/product liability, building disputes, commercial fraud, landlord and tenant for local authorities, housing associations and private landlords. Land registration and adverse possession. Inheritance Act and TLATA claims.
