Anna Pope recently defended David Wyn Jones, charged with the double murder of his wife and 2 year old son. The defendant suffered a serious deterioration in his mental health resulting in actions leading to the death of his wife and child. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility with the judge giving a hospital order under the grounds of the mental health act.
