Car dealer who owed £1.3 million found guilty of fraud

Matthew Corbett-Jones, leading Miss Jade Tufail, has secured convictions against car dealer Gwyn Meirion Roberts from Bangor, North Wales. Mr Roberts defrauded customers of cash deposits and part-exchanged vehicles with the promise of new vehicles which he knew some customers would not receive. The trial, which lasted five weeks at Caernarfon Crown Court, was brought by the complex case unit in Cardiff. The defendant is due to be sentenced on the 5^th March 2019.
